Who can resist this face?
This morning Gavin pulled a pink spatula out of the drawer. He waved in it my face and said,
"Bite? Yummy bite? Yummy bite please?"
Then, using his latest motivational tactic, he put his hands on my hips and pushed me in the direction he wanted me to go. He pushed me to the mixer.
This morning I had plans to mop the floor, but instead, I made cookies.
Gavin got lots of yummy bites, and so did I!

Save some for me!!
I'm jealous. Sounds like a FABULOUS way to spend a Friday!
What a sweet boy. Now that's the saying, "when life hands you a spatula, you make cookies." =) Those jammies bring so many memories. My Zach had the same pair. I can't imagine the day when Ethan grows into them, but I know it's not too far away.
See there, now this is why I often put off mopping the kitchen - because what's the point of mopping if you're going to make cookies?
Cookies now, mopping later. Much later.
Yummy, my brother made some cookies for us the other day, they were gone in two days btwn Andrew and Li. You'd think they never had them before. :) Love the picture. What a great shot.
Gavin, you're so adorable. I would make cookies for you anyday!
(Now that he's learned how to get them, you'll probably be seeing alot more of that spatula. ;)
The expression on his face is priceless!!! A certain musical comes to mind.... "Please sir, could I have some more!" You are right... How could you resist that face!!!!!
:)
That is absolutely precious! Forget the cookies, I could eat him up looking so yummy and sweet.
Gavin I love you!
You are such a nice mom.
Love the spatula. Love Gavin's words. Love that you were flexible for your boy. It's better to mop after the cookies anyway.
