Fathers and Sons

Garry beefed up his application for Father of the Year by hauling three boys to the annual Fathers and Sons camp-out. As camping trips go, it's the easiest gig in town: 20 minutes from home, pick up dinner on the way, and the ward provides breakfast. Still, camping is a lot of work with little kids!

The tent:

Roasting marshmallows with the ward:

Sitting by the campfire:

Beautiful sunset:

Nighty-night!

Morning discovery:

Visiting the B-52 Memorial adjacent to the campground:

Not pictured:
Taking down the tent while keeping an eye on the (wrong) group's breakfast preparations...and missing breakfast with the ward. (Major bummer.)

Also not pictured:
Breakfast at IHOP on the way home.

All in all, a great trip!

Garry immediately commenced mowing and trimming the yard when he got home.
He wore Lexi in a backpack most of the time.

*Sigh*
My hero!

A good husband is a very wise investment! 20 minutes away - very jealous!
